Would you like to experience Human-flight and enjoy Ireland's breath-taking scenery from the unique perspective of soaring birds? As a tandem paragliding 'Air Experience Instructor' I would be delighted to introduce you to the sky. I will take you under my wing so that you can experience the supreme thrill of floating weightlessly through the air, soaring high into the sky and dancing to the tune of Mother Nature. Ireland has an amazing range of paragliding sites, offering everything from calm, playful coastal soaring to more intense inland, thermal sites where a trip to the clouds is often just the beginning of a cross-country adventure. While I regularly tour the island, I tend to fly sites at Killiney (Dublin), Bray Head, (Wicklow), Lough Bray (Wicklow Mountains), Mount Leinster (Carlow), Slieve Gullion (Louth / Armagh), Galtees (Tipperary), Rossbeigh (Kerry) and Truskmore (Sligo) most often. But with great flying options all over Ireland (except the central midlands), I'll travel anywhere to get you airborne. A Tandem Air Experience costs €150 (for one, but an additional person(s) can fly for just €75 extra), which covers a good introduction to flight-theory, some quality airtime and a HD video of your adventures. Depending on conditions on the day, we may make one long soaring flight (aproximately 25-30 minutes) or several shorter flights. Either way, you are assured to get a proper taste of human flight and have an adventure that you'll never forget. For an Air Experience Flight you will need to be in sound mind and fit enough to run up to 30 foot without stopping. On the day, you must be feeling well and alert and must not be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. As we will be harnessed securely together, your safety is also my safety! If you're not sure about something then, please, just ask me. I have years of experience and training, use top-class equipment and a have a great attitude to safety. But its important to understand that paragliding is an adventure sport, not a funfair ride and we each undertake adventure sports at our own risk. On the day, you are advised to bring footware with ankle support that are well-secured on your feet (no sandals, high-heels or slip-on shoes) and some warm, comfortable clothing. You'll appreciate a bottle of water and some food, sunglasses and suncream if you're hanging about a hillside for a few hours. If you'd like to experience Human-flight and dance through the sky to the rhythm of Nauture then please complete the form below. Once completed I will send you payment details, options which include bank transfer, credit or laser card. I operate a voucher system so once you have booked and paid for a flight you will then be added to my flying mailing list and can join me the next time I'm flying in your preferred area. Or, if you would like to buy a voucher and give somebody you care for the Gift of Flight then please be sure to tell me the name of the giftee, and I will post you an attractive, personalised voucher...
